On the beam
The coursebook “On the beam. Elementary” is designed to study English for the first-year cadets. It provides training materials for developing and improving English language communication skills, which are necessary for further studying of Specialized English. It also provides opportunities to use the language in oral and written forms in the field of situational communication.
The objective of the course
is to get practical language proficiency for cadets of
maritime
educational institution. It is recommended to be
studied in the 1st and 2nd semesters.
